Terms of Use
What RiotPix is
RiotPix is a B2C bulk rental service for physical DVD and Blu-Ray movies and shows. Current terms: rental orders may include up to 25 discs, each with a 30-day rental window, and a flat outbound shipping fee of $4.39 is charged per order, covering shipping to you only. Rental prices vary by release year, starting at 99¢. Rented discs remain RiotPix property until returned or purchased. Used DVDs and Blu-Rays are also available to buy directly from RiotPix. RiotPix does not sell hardware or new discs directly - recommended DVD/Blu-Ray players and new discs are linked out to Amazon via our Associates program.
Return shipping
RiotPix's shipping fee covers getting your order to you - it does not include return shipping on a rental. You are responsible for the cost of mailing a rental disc back to RiotPix within its 30-day rental window. If a rental disc is never returned, it is instead billed as a non-return/replacement charge (see below), the same as if you'd bought it outright.
Late and non-returned discs
Rented discs remain RiotPix property until returned or purchased. Each rental has a 30-day rental window from its ship date. If a disc is past due and not returned, RiotPix may charge the payment method on file a non-return/replacement fee of at least $10.00 per DVD or VHS and $20.00 per Blu-Ray, in addition to any rental charges already paid. This charge may be made to your card on file without you being present to re-enter payment details, using the payment method you provided at checkout.
The $10.00/$20.00 figures above are minimums, not caps. Many titles in the RiotPix catalog are out of print, limited-run, or otherwise difficult to replace, and can carry a real-world replacement cost well above these minimums, their original rental price, or their nominal retail price - including titles that may hold or gain collectible value over time. RiotPix determines the applicable replacement cost for each title in its reasonable discretion, based on prevailing market prices for a comparable copy at the time of assessment, which may exceed the minimums above.
An account charged a non-return/replacement fee is suspended immediately - you will not be able to log in or place further orders until you contact RiotPix support and the account is manually unlocked.
If a disc is returned after a replacement charge has already been assessed, RiotPix will refund that charge - less any non-refundable costs already incurred (such as payment processing fees) - upon receipt of the disc in rentable condition.
Collections
An unpaid non-return/replacement charge is a delinquent account balance. RiotPix may refer delinquent accounts to a third-party collections agency, to legal counsel, or both, for collection of the full amount owed. Referral may occur without further individual notice beyond what these Terms already provide. You remain responsible for the full delinquent amount and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any additional collection costs, agency fees, interest, and reasonable attorney's fees incurred in recovering it.
Delinquent accounts are reviewed and pursued at RiotPix's discretion on a case-by-case basis, including, where RiotPix determines it appropriate, through RiotPix's retained legal counsel.
Order size, fair use
Rental orders may include up to 25 discs. You may only have one outstanding (not-yet-returned) rental order at a time - once you've placed a rental order, you won't be able to rent additional discs until every rental disc in your current order has been returned. This limit doesn't affect buying used discs, which you can do at any time. RiotPix reserves the right to require a deposit, hold, or verified payment method on large orders, and to decline service to accounts showing abuse (non-return, chargebacks, fraud).
RiotPix Loot
RiotPix Loot is not cash. It is a non-cash reward point, earned from early rental returns, redeemable only as a discount toward a future RiotPix order. Loot cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another account. 1,000 loot may discount up to $10.00 of a purchase (100 loot = $1.00 of discount). Loot has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may expire or be adjusted.
Early-return loot schedule
Return a rental early and you earn back a percentage of the cash you actually paid for it - not loot you used - as loot, based on how many days after shipment you return it. Because the reward is a percentage of cash paid, an order paid for mostly or entirely with loot earns proportionally less (or no) early-return loot.

Example: a rental line costing $1.99, paid entirely in cash, returned on day 20 (6.6%) earns 13 loot ($0.13-equivalent). The same line paid entirely with loot earns 0 loot back, since there was no cash paid on it.
Agreement required to transact
You must read and accept these Terms of Service before renting media or purchasing hardware at checkout. You can review and accept at any time from the relevant page.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or spam protections on this site.
- Do not submit anything through our forms that you would not want us to keep on file.

Warranty and liability
The site is provided as-is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of - or reliance on - anything on this site.
